The full NAP+ programme in collaboration with pos is out now!

Over the course of three days, NAP+ and pos (possibilities open studio) present a live programme of conversations, music, and interventions broadcast from the Centrale Markthal. Each day is shaped around a distinct theme, International Relations, Art Spaces, and Art & Words, through which invited artists, curators, and practitioners reflect on the questions and possibilities of working across borders, disciplines, and contexts.

Guiding audiences through each day are three hosts whose own practices embody these themes: Sarah Saleh (Echobox Radio, BBTCOR) for International Relations, Victor Kasiga (pos) for Art Spaces, and Iulia Aionesi (independent artist and researcher) for Art & Words.

Day 1 — International Relations

Part of our three-day programme in collaboration with POS (Possibilities Open Studio) during the @nap.plus Art Fair. Hosted and broadcast live from pos in Centrale Markthal. Stop by, or tune in from 13:00 on 12 September for interviews, music, and a panel discussion.

Echobox resident and co-founder of BBTCOR (Bring Back The Chill Out Room). Lebanese-born, Sarah Saleh will guide us through the day with music selections, interviews, and panel moderating — drawing from her own international residency experience.

London Calling: Harlesden High Street (Talk)
Jonny and Sophie present Harlesden Highstreet and Minor Attractions, featuring works by Angela Nguyen and Antonio Lechuga.

Echoes of Nusantara w/ Kulamang (Talk & DJ Set)
Echobox resident Kulumang explores heritage, representation, and the sonic dialogues between Nusantara, its diaspora, and the global community, as featured on his Echobox show and through Serumpun Kolektif.

From Residency to Roots: Rijks Academie Alumni (Panel)
Alumni discuss uprooting for residencies — moving life and country for art. Featuring Pakistan-born Ul Haq, who works with sculptural forms that challenge their own content and objecthood. He is currently a Mondriaan Fonds “Kunstenaar Basis” grant recipient and a resident at Rijksakademie voor Beeldende Kunst.

Host & Music: Victor Kasiga — multidisciplinary artist and performer working in visual art, music, and film. As part of Possibilities Open Studio, he will guide us through the day.

Co-founders Sara Lang and David van Doesburg (NAP+) discuss what goes into selecting a space for a project. They also run galleries LANG and Stigter van Doesburg in Amsterdam.

Sara Berton (Talk & DJ Set)
Italian-born, Amsterdam-based @berton.deluxe has explored electronic music in depth over the past seven years. She is also an independent curator and manager of Lumen Travo Gallery.

Where Art Takes Place: OSCAM, De Oude Kerk & WiiLL!E Creative Space (Panel)
How does location influence an art space’s programming, visitors, and art itself?

Leia Amerding (OSCAM): Curator, producer, and speaker focusing on race theory, African contemporary art, and amplifying young visual creators of color.
Mariette Döller (De Oude Kerk): Director of the oldest building in Amsterdam (1306), a major commissioner of site-specific and international works.
WiLL!E: Artist-run initiative in Zaandam, founded by Marian van Zijll Langhout. A hub for four artist studios.

Conceptual artist Ashley Zelinskie discusses the intersection of art and astronomy, including collaborations with NASA and the European Space Agency.

Host & Music: Iulia Aionesi works with voices, soundscapes, and archives to reconstruct marginal stories of migration and belonging, through accounts of collective memory.

Harry Castle — sonic artist working across experimental music, field recording, and performance. His mysticism-inspired work explores the dark and unexplored.

Writing as Archive and Access: Music, Art & Film (Panel)
With Isabel Walter, Haoran Xia, Hannah Pezzack.

Isabel Walter: Amsterdam-based curator, focused on photography, moving images, and new technologies.
Haoran Xia: Multidisciplinary essay writer exploring cinema, intimacy, agency, and queer studies.

Hana Pezzack: Writer, editor, and music journalist covering sound art, club culture, and listening politics. Curator at Sonic Acts and editor of Ecoes magazine.

Medium: Words Where Text Is the Material w/ Annabelle Binnerts (Talk)
Annabelle Binnerts uses words as both subject and material in murals, textiles, and publications — treating them as shapeshifters that can be bent, formed, and sculpted.
